At Rigid Motion Films, we integrate sustainability into every aspect of our production process, from set practices to community initiatives.
WE DIRECTLY IMPACT THE COMMUNITY
We are committed to zero food waste and significantly reducing plastic usage on our sets. As proud members of Keep Austin Beautiful, we organize four community trash cleanups annually in Austin, TX.
WHY WE CARE:
The reality is, our planet is unequivocally warming, & every little impact we as individuals and as businesses take to make positive change is better than being passive in this existential crises.
In addition, to inspire others we want to set the example for how productions can be ran by making small changes in our set culture & systems.
Implementing changes such as: always having a refillable water-bottle station, planning to have crew members carpool to set, working with companies that share our values, & of course, never wasting food.
(We have aspirations to partner with shelter’s to give away portions of food on larger sets).
These small changes together can help promote positive impact in our industry by leading by example & creating a model for other production companies to follow.
